Vail's new CD, a Beatles tribute album, is nearing completion. Been a long time coming, as the busy touring schedule makes it difficult to maintain momentum.

Kenny G's man down low, VAIL JOHNSON, stretches out on his new solo release, which sees the chops monster slapping the spit out of his basses on funkier tunes and taking expressive melodic leads on mellower numbers.
